News  17/2/05: It's almost three months since my return from Europe and I'm finally writing an update. After touring for two months since September, and after meeting a lot of great people and having a lot of good time in the 16 countries we visited, David went back to Israel. The rest of us hung around for a while and travelled seperately. We were all quite motivated to continue improving our scene after what we've seen in Europe and it was great to see that a lot of people at home had the exact same attitude. There are much more things going on right now in Tel Aviv than ever, over and under ground. A month ago 200 punks joined in protest against the violent evacuation of the only lasting squat in Tel Aviv. This squat was mainly used as a house for people who had no place to go, but lately more and more people are talking about creating a squatted social-center which will benefit the whole community. There were also quite a few DIY gigs organized in the past few months. It seems like bands got sick of the way the clubs treated them and decided they should just do it themselves. There was even some money raised which was used to buy equipment and to open an independant gig/rehearsal room. To top it all, Bands like Kommisar X from Germany and Critica Radicala from Romania are coming to play in Israel and there are more efforts to bring other bands to play as well. As for Nikmat Olalim, we are writing new songs and planning to do a short tour of the UK and Western Europe this summer. Please contact us if you can help in any way. We will also be releasing a split 12" with Oi Polloi on Campary Records in the next couple of months. This record will contain songs from our previous 7" Self Devouring Land and new recordings of some older songs. If you happen to be in Israel we will play with Kommisar X on 26.2 in Tel Aviv. ...Meanwhile in Palestine everything is quite the same. Meaning that since there's no specific military action going on right now, and since there haven't been any "serious" terrorist attacks to provoke the public opinion in Israel, people are too busy to care about the suffering of day to day life under martial law and the supreme power of the settelers. To say more about the subject, there is too much talk right now about the military retreating from Gaza and the protection of the settelers rights to actually realize how racist our society is for trying to solve everything with walls, fences and borders. 
 01/1/05: It's been a while since our last update... Meanwhile we've come back from Europe, released our first 7 inch record... Very soon we will start playing shows, and maybe write a bit about our experience in Europe. Our 7 inch, as well as new shirts, can be bought through Boshet Records. By the way, I would like to take the chance to thank all the people who helped us out on tour, bands we've played with, people who organized shows or tried to help us with booking, everyone who's offered a bed or floorspace, and everyone we met and got a chance to talk to... Thank you all, and hoepfully we will be seeing you sometime in the future. Take care! 17/9/04: We're in Finland right now and are having a lot of fun. Many great people and so far two really fun shows. I added some more tour dates but there are still many dates that are not confirmed so come back often because things will be updated 8/9/04: I updated our tour dates. A lot of dates are not closed but hopefully I'll get an updated list in the following days. 7/8/04: I added a new section, the info page. It has articles, reviews and interviews. I strongly recommend that you enter it and read the letter Oi Polloi sent to RTB zine and the Interview publishe in Punk International. Especially if you're from Germany. 3/8/04: The new songs we recorded, which will be released on a 7" in Europe this coming September, are going to be released on a limited edition CD with two bonus tracks in Israel. The CD will be available through us, Boshet Records, and in stores. I uploaded one of the songs, "Controlled Explosion" to celebrate the occasion. About our split 7" with Oi Polloi. There have been some difficulties and the release date has been postponed from September to October. I hope there won't be any more trouble. 11/7/04: I added the tour dates for our European tour. 26/6/04: We finished editing our recordings which will hopefully come out around September. For pictures from the editing, click here. We have a new guestbook to replace our crummy ol' forum, please check it out. 12/6/04: Our split 7" with Your Kingdoom is Doomed is out. It's available through A.M.A Records & Tapes and will soon be available through us. We will soon master our new recordings which will come out as a 7" and a split 7" with Scotland's Oi Polloi. We are also planning to tour Europe this fall, dates will be up soon. 26/2/04: We're going to play a show with the Dutch Hardcore band Makiladoras next month. More information is available here. Furthermore, we will most likely play another show in Natzrat Ilit, which I will write about as soon as possible. 8/12/03: The shows in Kfar Saba rocked! I must say the Noal is the is my favourite DIY venue in Israel. Thanks a lot to everyone who came and supported and to all the bands that played. By the way, if anyone has pictures from the show please send them to us so that we could put them on the site. A few updates: The links section has been updated, go check them out if you have nothing better to do. Also, there's a new distro for Israeli punk and hardcore called Boshet Records go and see what they have to offer. 12/10/03: A lot has happened since the last time I updated this website. As you might have noticed, it is pretty much done. All sections are up and running and now it's just a matter of updating, I hope it will be done frequently. Anyway, our album is finally out. After months of work we released "Battle Legacy", our debut album. It has 11 songs and was recorded in the spring at the Mapakh. It costs 30 NIS and is available at concerts and through us. We hope to distribute to some indepndent music stores in the near future. We also put up two songs from the album on the website, you are welcome to download them to get an idea of what we sound like. Except for this album we are planning to release a couple of split seven inches and to appear on an Israeli hardcore comp. More information about these releases will be published when I will know it. Except for that we have some shows planned and other things that it is still too early to talk about, but hopefully you will know about them in a very short time.
